About the John of God Crystal Healing Bed

Crystal Bed Healing combines the power of color therapy and crystal healing therapy, using seven, exquisitely pure, specially cut, color-lighted quartz crystals to channel healing energy.  As color is transmitted through each crystal onto the corresponding human chakras (or energy centers), the chakras are cleansed, energized, and brought into balance. This allows for deeper, more subtle energies within the individual to be brought into balance, as well, and places the body in a state to ignite it's own healing. During a crystal healing session, the person lays under the crystals, fully clothed on a table, in a quiet, softly lit room while relaxing music plays.  The session may last up to one hour, and individual experiences can range from deeply relaxing to energizing to, in some cases, profoundly moving.

John of God is a humble, but world-renowned spiritual healer from Abadiania, Brazil. He established the Casa de Dom Inacio de Loyola in the hills of Goiania, to which people travel from all over the world to receive miraculous spiritual, mental, emotional and physical healing. Through incorporation of loving spiritual guides, John of God channels healing energy to all who come to the Casa in need. This Casa Crystal Bed was brought by Dodi, with John of God's permission, to New Hampshire with the loving intention of sharing its healing properties with all who are called to the experience.  The exquisitely pure crystals, for this and all Casa Crystal Beds, were mined in a small town called Garimbo de Ouro, where gold and precious stones, quartz crystals and amethyst lie beneath the surface of most of the area, resulting in a profound energy emanating from the earth there. Joao Teixeira de Faira (John of God) says that the crystals making up the crystal beds were “born in beds of water, deep beneath the earth.”  Each of the seven crystals came from a single stone that was carefully hand-sculpted beneath a waterfall.

Is there a Scientific explanation for how crystals heal?

Crystals have some of the highest molecular orderliness found in nature. Light passing through the crystal will resonate with the structured patterns of the crystal. Water can take on a variety of molecular patterns. It is now known that when water forms well organized and geometrically shaped molecule patterns, it has increased surface tension and bonding properties. This is the pure state of water found in healthy cell tissue, while un-geometric and disorganized water molecules are found in unhealthy cells and cancer cells.  Thus, one explanation for the health giving effects of crystal therapy is that the well-organized vibration resonating from the crystals helps to organize the water in our tissues and cells. Much of our present day understanding of crystal therapy was developed by Marcel Vogel, who spent his life investigating quartz crystals. He designed experiments demonstrating the power of crystals to affect physical processes. The experiments of Vogel and his associates proved that a precisely cut quartz crystal produces a constant vibration of the same frequency as water in its purest state. Moving water will pick up the vibration from the crystal through resonant interaction and this transferred charge will restructure the water. A cut crystal can be charged with intent to structure water. Since we are made up of 90% water this carries strong implication for how our health can be affected.
